Académie Gli Incogniti

We had the opportunity to participate in the Académie Gli Incogniti in France. The courses took place from May 5th to May 9th, 2023, in the beautiful town of Saint-Juéry. We are really grateful to have received an invitation to be a part of this esteemed program.

During our time at the academy, we had the privilege of learning from wonderful teachers, including Amandine Beyer, Anna Fontana, Olivier Fourés, and Thibault Amanieu. These classes went beyond interpretation and technique, incorporating body work and the involvement of dancers in our performances — a important aspect of our artistic development. The Académie was organized by Manon Vlau, who not only ensured a fantastic atmosphere but also prioritized eco-friendly practices to make the program as sustainable as possible.

The lessons we received were invaluable, inspiring us and offering fresh perspectives on our musical performances. We are overjoyed to have had the opportunity to visit France and, at the conclusion of the courses, perform alongside fellow participants during a closing concert in the Old Church of Saint-Juéry (Aveyron).

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making this experience possible, from the organizers to the professors and fellow musicians. Your support and guidance have truly enriched our artistic growth. We are excited to incorporate the knowledge and inspiration gained from the Académie into our future endeavors.
